Dubai, UAE, 2019-Nov-04 — /Travel PR News/ — As the excitement continues for the Dubai Fitness Challenge, Emirates invited UAE Team Emirates to test their riding skills and performance on the Emirates Group Headquarters rooftop.
Four of the team’s top cyclists and among the top young riders globally – Alexander Kristoff (ranked 8th), Tadej Pogacar (ranked 12th), Diego Ulissi (ranked 13th) and Jasper Phillipsen (ranked 79th) circled a purpose built track and even showed off their moves as they pedalled across the track.
Emirates has been supporting UAE Team Emirates since 2017, in an effort to help bring the UAE to the world stage of cycling through competing in UCI World Tour events as well as promoting the UAE as a top level sports and cycling hub.
During the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the Emirates Group has been running a variety of activities, including a full schedule of sporting events and trial classes for employees. The company supports and promotes a culture of health, including almost 40 different sports and hobby clubs already managed and run by Emirates Group employees, ranging from football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, cricket, cycling, rugby, hockey, amongst other sports.
