TravelNevada appoints Jennifer Neubauer as its research manager, handling consumer market research and data

CARSON CITY, Nev., 2015-5-12 — /Travel PR News/ — The Nevada Division of Tourism (TravelNevada) has hired Jennifer Neubauer as its research manager, handling consumer market research and data. Among her various duties, Neubauer will oversee the development, coordination and administration of various research surveys, statistical databases, projects and reports. She will manage all aspects of statewide visitor statistics, including data collection, tabulation and analysis.

“Consumer market research is crucial to our organization — it’s the basis for our strategy in promoting Nevada,” Claudia Vecchio, Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, said. “The research manager position is vital to us, and we are pleased to have Jennifer, who has extensive experience in research and data management, as part of our team.”

Neubauer comes to the position from the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism, where she oversaw all aspects of tourism research, including the measurement and metrics of tourism data and the development and reporting on an economic impact study. Her responsibilities in Arkansas included the implementation of a new customer relationship management database system and reporting to state commissioners on tourism trends, methodologies and current research. Neubauer began her work with the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism as a research project analyst before moving on to the position of research project manager.

Neubauer holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration-marketing from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, and an MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
