CHICAGO, 2014-11-11 — /Travel PR News/ — The Chicago Department of Aviation(CDA) will host an Open House for material suppliers – General Contractors, Door Manufacturers and Millwork Fabricators – interested in participating in its Residential Sound Insulation Program (RSIP).
The event will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.at the CDA Aviation Administration Building (Building 804), 10510 W. Zemke Rd., Chicago, Illinois 60666.
The location will be Conference Room 1 on the 2nd floor. Free parking is available in the lot in front of the building.
The agenda will include an overview of the RSIP, information on the procurement process; Prime Door specifications and scope of work, and Q&A.
The CDA Residential Sound Insulation Program is the most aggressive of its kind in the country. To date, more than 18,000 homes have been sound-insulated in the communities surrounding O’Hare and Midway International Airports.
