Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 2020-Dec-01 — /Travel PR News/ — The first publication of a new ranking list entitled “The 101 Best Hotels in Germany” has confirmed that the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof, the Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin (Stuttgart), the Steigenberger Grandhotel Handelshof (Leipzig), the Steigenberger Hotel Der Sonnenhof (Bad Wörishofen), the Steigenberger Hotel Hamburg and the Steigenberger Parkhotel Düsseldorf are all amongst the leading lights of the German hotel sector.
“We are absolutely delighted that several Steigenberger Hotels in Germany have been included in this exclusive listing,” said Marcus Bernhardt, CEO Deutsche Hospitality, the umbrella brand of Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts. “This is a great accolade for our staff at the hotels and also very much reflects the ongoing improvements we are achieving with regard to our offer, our services and our portfolio.”
The new ranking system has been instigated by a consortium led by the Institute for Service and Leadership Excellence and comprising four further prestigious partners. The other organisations involved are the IUBH University of Applied Sciences, the business newspaper Handelsblatt, the AHGZ, a specialist weekly newspaper for the hotel and restaurant business in Germany, and CKR Hospitality Consulting. The 101 best hotels in Germany are determined by sorting and categorising the country’s hotel sector in accordance with measurable, relevant and meaningful criteria. Public feedback posted on reservation portals such as Booking.com and expert assessments including the Gold List produced by Condé Nast Traveller Magazine form the basis for the statistical evaluation.
