Chicago, IL, US, 2014-1-31 — /travelprnews.com/ — Spirit Airlines today announced new nonstop service between O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Oakland International Airport (OAK). This new service will consist of one daily nonstop flight starting May 1, 2014.
“On behalf of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, I want to thank Spirit Airlines for continuing to add service from Chicago O’Hare International Airport, the best connected airport in the world,” said Rosemarie S. Andolino, Commissioner, Chicago Department of Aviation. “Oakland is the largest U.S. market not already served from O’Hare. We are very excited to offer O’Hare travelers even more choices with this new destination.”
Beginning May 1, 2014, Spirit flight #209 will depart daily from Chicago at 3:20 p.m. and arrive in Oakland at 5:55 p.m. Flight 872 will depart daily from Oakland at 9:10 a.m. and arrive in Chicago at 3:18 p.m.
