Spirit Airlines Announces Nonstop Service from Fort Myers to Three New Cities: Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth and Minneapolis-St. Paul

Miramar, Florida, 2012-07-20 — /travelprnews.com/ — Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) is doubling the number of cities it serves from Fort Myers Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) this winter as it today announced it is adding nonstop ultra low fare service to three new cities, including Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth and Minneapolis-St. Paul.

  • Daily nonstop seasonal service between Fort Myers and Boston’s Logan International Airport starts November 8, 2012 and runs through April 24, 2013.
  • Spirit will offer nonstop seasonal service between Fort Myers and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport with three weekly flights from November 8, 2012 through April 24, 2013.
  • Daily nonstop seasonal service between Fort Myers and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport starts November 8, 2012 and runs through April 24, 2013.

Ball, A.A.E., executive director of the Lee County Port Authority. “Spirit Airlines has been operating at RSW since 1993, and these new flights will double the number of cities they currently serve from Fort Myers and offer our customers more choice when flying in and out of Southwest Florida.”

Spirit currently offers its ultra low fares from Fort Myers to Atlantic City, Chicago and Detroit.
