DALLAS, TX, 2023-Jul-26 — /Travel PR News/ — Southwest Airlines is highlighting aviation career fields and its pathway program for aspiring Pilots at EAA AirVenture 2023. As part of the outreach to the next generation of aviation professionals, the carrier is hosting a tent at the airshow offering career information and aviation-related activities. Southwest also flew a 737 MAX8 aircraft, outfitted with a commemorative decal to promote its Pilot pathways program, Destination 225°, to the event in Oshkosh, Wis., on Monday, July 24. Onboard the flight were Destination 225° cadets and mentors, along with members the airlines’ Chicago-area Community Outreach Partners Tuskegee NEXT Foundation and AeroStar Avion Institute – organizations which also work to inspire and guide students into pursuing aviation careers.
