Schiphol acclaimed best airport by Canadian travel agents

2012-10-15 — /travelprnews.com/ — Today marks the eighth year in a row that Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has been acclaimed best airport by Canadian travel agents. With this prize Amsterdam once again leaves not only London Heathrow but also Canada’s two largest airports, Toronto and Vancouver, trailing.

These awards are organised every year by Baxter Travel Media. The prize in the category ‘Top international airport’ was awarded for the first time eight years ago, and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has won it each and every year. Schiphol is renowned among travel agents on account of its good connections, clear signage, huge array of shops and many facilities.

The contest, in which 6,100 travel agents voted, was held this year for the thirteenth time.

Schiphol is proud to receive this award for the eighth consecutive year – proof that the airport is also considered Europe’s Preferred Airport by travel agents operating outside of Europe.
