2013-03-01 — /travelprnews.com/ — The San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau’s (SACVB) Sandy Bench, Alysia Roden and Troy Love have been promoted to Senior Sales Managers.
Sandra J. Bench, CMP, CTA has been with the SACVB for six years. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Sandy had a successful career as a meeting planner where she managed corporate meetings and incentive programs prior to joining the SACVB. Today, Sandy is a member of PCMA and past president of the Site Texas Chapter.
She serves as Vice-Chairman of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo’s hospitality Committee and is a Director for the San Antonio Livestock Exposition.Sandy is proud to have been named the committee’s 2007 Volunteer of the Year.
Alysia Roden, CMP, CTA, has been with the CVB for four years. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Alysia serves on the MPI Texas Hill Country Chapter’s Board of Directors as Vice President of Membership and is involved with the Texas Society of Association Executives.
Troy Love, CMP, CTA, has been with the CVB for 5 ½ years. He moved to San Antonio from the Black Hills of South and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and a Master’s degree in Tourism Management. Prior to joining the CVB, he spent the last 10 years as the Executive General Manager to a number of hotel/casino properties in the historic town of Deadwood, South Dakota.
