DOHA, Qatar, 2016-1-8 — /Travel PR News/ — Qatar Duty Free (QDF), designers of the award-winning retail experience at Hamad International Airport in Doha, will wow visitors to the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016 and Qatar Total Open Women’s tennis tournaments this year with an interactive pavilion offering spectators the opportunity to claim QDF discount shopping vouchers.
As the official retail sponsor of Qatar’s forthcoming premier tennis events in January and February, QDF has created an interactive pavilion to enable spectators to experience QDF’s world-class shopping emporium at each sporting event. Visitors are invited to take a selfie with QDF’s roaring T-Rex dinosaur, usually seen at the travel retailer’s The Bumble Tree toy store; claim a range of shopping vouchers from QDF concept boutiques and restaurants; enjoy videos from inside the world of duty-free; and scan QR codes to find out more about the latest QDF offers.
Mr. Keith Hunter, Senior Vice President, Qatar Duty Free, said: “The Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016 and Qatar Total Open Women’s tennis tournaments attract Doha’s diverse, international community each year, bringing fans together from across the world and QDF is once again proud to support such sporting excellence.
“Visitors to the event will enjoy the vibrant and interactive family-friendly QDF pavilion, which is offering an opportunity to explore the world-class shopping experience available at Hamad International Airport. We are delighted to provide spectators to the tournament with an insight into exclusive QDF products and promotions, and to offer them a range of discount vouchers to choose from, which they can redeem next time they shop at QDF.”
QDF will showcase its portfolio of brands at a dedicated pavilion located in the public village throughout the tournament. Visitors can drop in and choose from a range of retail vouchers which they can redeem for discounts at QDF’s shopping experience at Hamad International Airport. Spectators can select vouchers to redeem in individual QDF concept boutiques and restaurants: Boulevard, InPlay, The Bumble Tree, Junction, Esquire, the award-winning Marmalade Market, Red restaurant, Bazaar or can choose a complimentary beauty treatment from one of the world’s largest beauty, perfume and cosmetic stores.
The Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016 and Qatar Total Open Women’s tennis events will take place from 4-9 January and 19-27 February respectively, at Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha.
