Pupils from local primary schools joins the Christmas cheer at Auckland Airport
Auckland, New Zealand, 2016-Nov-29 — /Travel PR News/ — With the festive season nearly here, Auckland Airport is adding to the Christmas cheer by inviting pupils from local primary schools to get involved in some Christmas activities.
One of the activities has seen pupils from local primary schools invited to perform Christmas carols at the airport.
“This a great opportunity for our local schools to showcase their creative talents to a wide and diverse audience, and our travellers and visitors will love being treated to some Christmas festivities as they walk through our terminals,” says Anna Cassels-Brown, Auckland Airport general manager – people and safety.
As well as the carols, Auckland Airport has invited pupils from Papatoetoe West School to produce artwork for a digital Christmas card that they will send to business partners in December.
“We have a wealth of artistic talent in our South Auckland community and we thought this was a great way to share this talent with the businesses we work with throughout the year,” says Anna.
