Norwegian Cruise Line appoints Evelyn Ackermann as Marketing Director Europe and Veronika Bahnmann as Senior Manager PR & Communications

Wiesbaden / Southampton, 2017-Oct-25 — /Travel PR News/ — Norwegian Cruise Line, one of the leading contemporary cruise companies worldwide, aims at levering its brand visibility and recognition in Europe with the appointment of two new key positions: Evelyn Ackermann joins the company as its new Director Marketing Europe, while Veronika Bahnmann has been appointed as its Senior Manager PR & Communications. The move reinforces the cruise line’s aim to further grow its market share in the European market by capitalizing on its innovative Premium All Inclusive offering. It includes an added value of more than 1,400 EUR per stateroom into the cruise fare thus making the holiday budgeting process for guests much easier.

Evelyn Ackermann has a proven track record in Marketing and Sales, having held various executive positions at Gulf Air as well as the UK based price comparison platform Kelkoo. Before joining Norwegian Cruise Line, she has worked in various positions at the car rental company Hertz Europe, most recently as Director Corporate Sales EMEA. In this role she took care for the division Corporate Sales of the company’s sales and business development activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa. In her new role, Evelyn Ackermann will be responsible for all marketing and brand activities of Norwegian Cruise Line in Europe and will oversee a team of 10 marketing experts.

Newly responsible for the company’s public relations and communications is as of September Veronika Bahnmann. During the course of her seven year career, she has gained extensive PR experience in the tourism sector. Her previous positions include communication roles at the international hotel group Worldhotels as well as at the FTI GROUP.

Evelyn Ackermann and Veronika Bahnmann will be based in the European Branch Office of Norwegian Cruise Line in Wiesbaden, Germany, and report directly into Christian Boell.
