Newquay Cornwall Airport announce new charter holidays to the Turkish Riviera for 2013

Newquay Cornwall Airport announces today a brand new charter destination to Turkey with tour operator OSKA-TRAVEL, a member of KENBA Group International.

2013-01-16 — /travelprnews.com/ — Commencing 5th April 2013 and operating every Friday in April, passengers will be able to fly direct from NQY Airport to enjoy a 7 night escorted tour around the Turkish Riviera.

The luxury break includes guided tours to Antalya, Kemer, Pamukkale, Tava & Perga, overnight accommodation in luxury 4 & 5 star hotels and a buffet breakfast with prices ranging from £249 up to £299 depending on dates. Passengers can have full confidence in their booking as the whole charter is ATOL protected.

Al Titterington, MD at Newquay Cornwall Airport commented “This is the first time the airport will offer flights to Turkey and it is a new destination to add to our charter holiday portfolio. We understand the demand by Cornish residents for travel to Turkey who are currently flying from other UK Airports. Our plans with OSKA-TRAVEL are to offer a series of low cost but luxury charter breaks throughout the year and we hope the Cornish community will support the charters by using their local Airport. The Turkish Riviera offers many cultural and historical locations as well as a warm climate and we believe this will make it extremely popular”.

Andreas F Forsthuber, Director KENBA Group said “We are really excited to add a regional airport such as Newquay.

At KENBA Group we have handled more than 60,000 passengers from 6 different countries in 2012. This high passenger volume together with the support we have experienced from the Turkish tourism industry gives us the opportunity to make low budget trips of a high standard available to the people of Cornwall and to give them the opportunity to fly to Turkey from nearer to home.

We are really looking forward to welcoming the guests from Cornwall in Turkey – and we are sure they will love this tour. It might well be their first – but it will definitely not be their last trip”.

Mine Aslan, Commercial Director CORENDON Airlines “We look forward to the cooperation with NQY Airport. Only with their substantial support are we able to offer this kind of low budget charter services. And we hope, that we will have the opportunity to add more flights at a later stage”.
