New Hampton Inn Opens in Columbia

124-room property brings Hamptonality to Maryland

COLUMBIA, Md. – 2012-11-21 — / — Hampton Hotels, the global brand of nearly 1,900 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Hampton by Hilton hotels, today announced the official opening of its newest property, the 124-room Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia/South located at 7045 Minstrel Way.

The hotel is owned by OTO Rock, LLC and operated by OTO Development, LLC. It is the second Hampton property in Columbia, ahead of four more Hampton hotels slated to be opened in Maryland and more than 250 Hampton properties in the pipeline in the U.S.

Located just south of Baltimore, north of Washington D.C., and only 15 miles from Baltimore Washington International Airport, the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia/South is nearby popular attractions such as Camden Yards, M&T Bank Stadium, Maryland Zoo, the Maryland Science Center and the National Aquarium of Baltimore. The hotel is also close to major business parks including Columbia Gateway and Columbia Business Park for those traveling for business.
