New Aberdeen to Barcelona route

2012-09-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — Barrhead Travel has announced the launch of an exciting new route from Aberdeen for summer 2013 in addition to their successful Aberdeen to Malaga route.

Scotland’s leading independent travel group will operate weekly charter flights to Barcelona between May and October next year, using British Airways aircraft and crew. Departing early morning on Sundays throughout the summer, the aircraft has a generous seat pitch, and a total luggage allowance per person of 25 kg.

Sharon Munro, Chief Executive of Barrhead Travel, said, “We have been successfully operating Aberdeen to Malaga flights for the past two years, and felt there was a demand and need from the people of Aberdeen and the North East to have more choice flying from their local airport. Therefore, we have added direct flights to Barcelona to our summer programme. We’ll be the only operator on this route, and our flights are perfect for connecting with cruise departures from Barcelona, as well as for breaks in the city and holidays to the surrounding resorts.”
