LONDON, UK, 2018-Aug-13 — /Travel PR News/ — THE new HARRY POTTER™ SHOP has officially opened its doors at Heathrow Terminal 5.
The new 1000 sq.ft. space, which is nearly double the size of the previous store, will be situated in Terminal 5 departure lounge. The new HARRY POTTER™ SHOP will offer a wider selection of items from across the Wizarding World including collectibles, apparel, accessories, gifts, novelties and souvenirs from the iconic Platform 9 ¾ shop at King’s Cross Station and a host of experiential activities including product demonstrations and a new photo opportunity.
Travelers will also be able to have their photograph taken inside ‘the London Telephone Box’ and have their very own personalised Ministry of Magic Photo ID created while they browse the store.
The store will be visited by many of the 16 million passengers coming through Heathrow Terminal 5 each year, adding to the existing traveller experience. THE HARRY POTTER™ SHOP has been produced by Jonathan Sands (Chief Executive of the Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾ King’s Cross Station) in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
