MSC World Atlantic brings 40+ dining venues, Latin nightlife & cliffhanger thrills to the Caribbean in 2027

(NEWS) GENEVA, Switzerland, 2025-Dec-10 — /Travel PR News/ — A new wave of sea-bound glamour is on the horizon as MSC Cruises officially opens bookings for the upcoming MSC World Atlantic — the fourth vessel in the cruise line’s forward-thinking World Class series and its newest Caribbean flagship, scheduled to homeport in Port Canaveral, Orlando starting November 2027. Designed around the idea of “a world within a world,” the ship combines European sophistication with American-style comfort, creating a floating destination filled with dining, entertainment, and thrill-seeking surprises across seven themed onboard districts.

Travelers will be able to choose from alternating 7-night and 14-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, sailing to some of the region’s most beloved ports including Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Grand Turk Island, and Puerto Plata. The location choice is strategic — Orlando is one of the world’s most dynamic tourism gateways with effortless connectivity, setting MSC World Atlantic up as a year-round holiday magnet for global cruisers.

Based on details shared in MSC Cruises’ official announcement, the new ship will offer more than 38,000 square meters of public space and an impressive constellation of 40+ bars, lounges and dining venues, ranging from Italian trattoria classics to the beloved American steakhouse Butcher’s Cut, alongside Japanese theatrical dining at Kaito Teppanyaki. A vibrant newcomer — Viva La Musica — will celebrate Latin nightlife with salsa rhythms, handcrafted cocktails, and late-evening energy.

Families can look forward to The Clubhouse, rolling out retro games, bumper cars, roller skating, sports courts and LEGO® fun zones — making it ideal for multi-generational travel. Alongside it sits The Harbour, a lively outdoor family district with water slides, splash zones and rope-course adventures high above the deck. For those chasing an adrenaline rush, the headline attraction Cliffhanger — an over-water swing lifting guests 50 metres above open sea — returns after gaining fan-favorite status on MSC World America.

Luxury-leaning guests can retreat to the coveted MSC Yacht Club, the cruise line’s private “ship-within-a-ship” concept with exclusive restaurant and lounge access, private pool decks, 24-hour concierge, and premium suites — plus dedicated spaces on Ocean Cay. Onboard wellbeing continues at MSC Aurea Spa, one of the largest thermal facilities in the fleet, complete with snow rooms, saunas, Technogym-powered fitness and a gentleman’s grooming lounge.

The ship will run on LNG — supporting a transition toward renewable bio-LNG in the future — and is fitted with shore power connectivity, advanced wastewater treatment and waste-reduction systems, underlining MSC’s investment in responsible innovation at sea.

Bookings are now open, with MSC Voyagers Club members receiving early-booking perks including extra points, onboard credit and layered discounts when booking more than a year ahead.
