Meliá Hotels International to open a new Innside by Meliá hotel in the center of Aachen (Germany)

The hotel will be the 15th Innside property in Germany

Palma de Mallorca, 2012-12-28 — /travelprnews.com/ — Meliá Hotels International has announced today a new Innside by Meliá hotel in the city of Aachen, 80 kms southwest from Dusseldorf and Koln, close to the Belgium and Dutch borders.

The hotel, located at the heart of the city, is scheduled to open in the first half of 2015, and will provide 158 rooms, a sky bar and a restaurant at the rooftop with panoramic views over the town, including the cathedral.

The owners, the German subsidiary of Dutch development organisation Hugenholtz Property Group (HPG), has signed a long-term lease agreement with the third-largest Hotel group in Europe, Meliá Hotels International, to operate the hotel under its most cosmopolitan hotel brand; Innside By Meliá, which offers a business lifestyle experience to its customers.

For HPG Group, “the Innside brand´s attributes, along with Meliá Hotels International´s management know-how, made them the perfect partners for us”. Innside by Meliá is the fastest growing brand within the hotel chain, characterized by its modern design, efficient and smart service and charming style, offering a different experience for both business and leisure urban getaway. There are currently nine Innside hotels opened in Germany and the brand has begun to expand in other countries.
