Energetic social hub open morning, afternoon and night, offering gourmet coffee, hand-crafted cocktails, small bites and more
Las Vegas, U.S.A. – 2013-02-12 — /travelprnews.com/ — The lobby and garden at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas will come alive this spring with Press, a relaxed yet sophisticated new indoor/outdoor concept offering a variety of innovative food and drink offerings in a unique setting. Currently under construction, Press is set to open in April 2013.
“Press will serve as an inviting and energetic gathering space day and night,” says Mark Hellrung, general manager. “Its lively indoor and outdoor setting, unique food and drink offerings and bold design will appeal to guests and locals, while further enhancing the overall Four Seasons experience.”
While the food and beverage offerings at Press will take centre stage, its modern décor designed by Engstrom Design Group (EDG) is sure to create a buzz all its own. With edgy décor that echoes the energy of Las Vegas itself, the space features a dramatic modern art centrepiece and comfortable, quality-constructed furnishings. Multi-tasking patrons can stay connected with a seamless, high-speed wifi connection and multiple charging outlets throughout the space.
Press brings the outdoors in via oversized windows and a glass door leading to the patio area. Two large gas fire pits will anchor the patio setting. Comfortable sofa seating overlooks the Hotel’s lushly landscaped private pool. Additional outdoor design highlights include a shaded trellis system with misters, ceiling fans and heaters. Tableside service will be provided by Press staff.
Press will function as a lively social hub morning, afternoon and night. In the morning, experienced baristas will prepare Lavazza espressos and Stumptown organic roasted coffees. Organic, freshly squeezed juices will also be available, along with fresh “grab and go” items such as fruit cups and seasonal muffins, warm sticky buns and croissants prepared by Pastry Chef Jean-Luc Daul.
In the afternoon, Press will serve as a relaxed place to catch a game on ESPN or enjoy an ice cold local beer or a Paloma with freshly pressed grapefruit juice. Hungry guests can choose from market fresh salads or freshly prepared, house-made paninis to be enjoyed indoors, outdoors or on the go.
When the sun sets on the glittering Las Vegas Strip, the spirited environment at Press will provide an ideal space to meet before and after a night on the town. A full bar features 16 wines by the glass from an Enoteca system, draft beer, hand-crafted, speakeasy cocktails and a featured ice program. A small plate menu will serve up creative, seasonal foods while late night offerings will include decadent chocolate truffles, whimsical ice-cream truck favourites and night cap beverages to end the evening. On the terrace, guests will mingle in the glow of the fire pits while enjoying a customized music play list.
The opening of Press comes on the heels of the Hotel’s major guest room renovation, completed in December 2012. Inspired by the vibrant Art-Deco era, the restyled guest rooms are chic and sophisticated. Highlights include bold, modern artwork, sleek furnishings and innovative technology.
The AAA Five Diamond Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is located on the Las Vegas Strip, offering guests direct access to the adjacent Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and the city’s signature action and nightlife. Guest rooms are located on floors 35 – 39 of the Mandalay Bay tower, where sweeping Strip and mountain views are visible through floor-to-ceiling windows. The Las Vegas luxury Hotel is also home to Verandah, known for its authentic Italian specialties, and Charlie Palmer Steak.
