2013-09-04 — /travelprnews.com/ — Stapleford Park has named new head chef as being Martin Furlong, who takes on the helm of the kitchen this September. Marking his new role within Rutland Pride magazine who recognise Stapleford Park as being the restaurant of the month for September Martin states “Stapleford Park is so beautiful that it sets a pretty high bar for chefs, fortunately we have a great brigade and we’re all focused on creating the highest quality cuisine”.

Martin takes over from current head chef David Ellams as he leaves the area to go travelling. Martin is hardly a stranger to travelling himself, an Australian who travelled all over the world but came to the area for its fresh local ingredients back in 2003. Working as part of the 14 strong brigade currently headed up by Dave ever since, he is delighted to be heading up the kitchen.
