Mandarin Oriental, Munich announces the reopening of its fantastic summer venue, the China Moon Roof Terrace

Hong Kong, 2013-04-30 — /travelprnews.com/ — Back by popular demand, Mandarin Oriental, Munich is delighted to announce the reopening of its fantastic summer venue, the China Moon Roof Terrace. The hotel’s Asian-designed China Moon Roof Terrace is one of Munich’s best-kept secrets with a fabulous 360-degree panorama of the city of Munich, the city’s iconic Frauenkirche church and the majestic Alps. Those in the know delight in inviting guests to this secret location with spectacular views.

Open during the summer months from May until October, guests can enjoy Asian, Oriental and international specialities created by Michelin-Starred Executive Chef Simon Larese with a selection of trendy cocktails served by chic waiters in specially designed Shanghai Tang outfits.

From this year: China Moon offers a new corner bar with perfect views of the city: from the twin domes of Munich Cathedral to the imposing parliament buildings and as far as the spectacular alpine horizon. Guests can also enjoy an art exhibition by the avant-garde painter Shirin Donia who also created the menu cards for China Moon.

The Roof Top’s unique setting makes this the perfect venue for unforgettable summer events, BBQ’s and private parties, with space for up to 120 people.

Open for hotels guests of the hotel, a 360 degree panoramic rooftop swimming pool with sun lounging area is the ideal space for relaxing.

The China Moon Roof Terrace is open daily from noon to 10 pm. Reservations are recommended.
