LIVERPOOL, UK, 2015-7-20 — /Travel PR News/ — Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) today celebrated Czech Airlines’ inaugural service from Liverpool to Prague, the capital of The Czech Republic.
The twice weekly summer operation is ideal for leisure passengers with flights on Fridays and Mondays, giving travellers the opportunity to spend a weekend in Prague.
Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic and it is often described as one of Europe’s most beautiful Cities, with a history that goes back a millennium.
Celebrations commenced with a traditional arch of water aircraft ‘baptism’ performed by the Airport’s Emergency Response Service to welcome the arrival of the first Czech Airline’s flight to Liverpool. This was followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony ahead of the first departure and a presentation to the airline of one of the Airport’s themed celebratory cakes for passengers and airline staff to enjoy.
