Jersey Heritage to open doors of its historic self-catering and coastal tower accommodation located around the Island on Sunday 27 April 2014

Jersey, 2014-04-16 — /Travel PR News/ — From 10:00 – 16:00 on Sunday 27 April 2014, Jersey Heritage will be opening the doors of its historic self-catering and coastal tower accommodation located around the Island. The Jersey Heritage Lets Open Day invites the public to visit and explore a host of unique landmarks which are available to let throughout the year.

Jersey Heritage is responsible for caring for and promoting the Island’s heritage and has been running self-catering and coastal tower accommodation from 2006. Since then, the number of properties available to Jersey residents and tourists has increased to 13, with Kempt Tower and La Rocco Tower soon to become available.

The open day is the most extensive Jersey Heritage has ever organised across its properties; throughout the day everyone will have the chance to look around these unique buildings, including the iconic Radio Tower at Corbiere and Barge Aground in St Ouen’s Bay.

Jo Falla, Heritage Venues Manager said:

“The open day is a great opportunity for local residents to gain access and explore these special properties, whether you are interested in the architecture and history, would like to book for a break with friends or family or are just  curious to have a look around and see how they have been developed.”
