Jack London Square kicks off the holiday season with Black Santa’s U Wish Workshop pop-up store at the Oakland waterfront

Family activities, Santa photo ops and workshops Nov. 23 through Dec. 24

Oakland, Calif., 2018-Nov-21 — /Travel PR News/ — Jack London Square kicks off the holiday season with Black Santa’s U Wish Workshop, a new pop-up store at the Oakland waterfront from November 23 through December 24.

The Winter Wonderland will feature free, kid-friendly, activities:

• Black Santa and Mrs. C meet-and-greets and photo ops on weekends
• Festive workshops with ornament-making and dreamer note-writing
• Kids yoga
• Dance parties

Former Golden State Warrior and two-time NBA All-Star, Baron Davis, founded the company, intended to celebrate diversity through animated storytelling, popular music and more. A schedule of concerts, toy drives, and other charitable events, is being developed for the Jack London Square pop-up at 54 Washington St.

The store will be open Wednesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Meet Black Santa and/or Mrs. C, from Noon to 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays (hours are subject to change.) Transportation options to the Square include the Alameda/SF Bay Ferry, Amtrak, biking, walking and driving. The free “B” Broadway shuttle runs Monday thru Friday, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The shuttle will take you anywhere from Uptown Oakland to Jack London Square and back.  For directions to the Oakland waterfront, please go here.
