Sofia Airport
2013-06-28 — /travelprnews.com/ — Sofia Airport welcomes once again the initiative of Design Week 2013, the International Design and Visual Culture Festival.
This year, if you travel from 21 June to 30 June, while you are waiting for your flight, you can visit the reading room for passengers.
The library with free access, especially opened for passengers, can be found in the gallery at second level, in the zone after border control at Terminal 2.
In a cosy atmosphere, with convenient leather armchairs, desk lamps and white-painted bookcases, books of Bulgarian and foreign authors are well arranged. Every passenger is free to spend his or her time in reading interesting book or looking at lavishly illustrated catalogues.
The reading room attracted the interest of many Bulgarian and foreign passengers. For a couple of hours only, on Monday (24 June) about 20 people visited the reading room. The attendance was mostly concentrated in the middle of the day while passengers were waiting for their flights to Frankfurt,Vienna, and Budapest.
A group of young people from Plovdiv flying to Vienna was pleasantly surprised to discover the reading room. They suggested that reading rooms should be made available at the other Bulgarian airports as well.
