The transformative agreement sees multiple properties undergo major rebranding and repositioning to provide guests with world-class luxury and lifestyle experiences:
Regent Melbourne: The historic InterContinental Melbourne the Rialto will be reimagined as the Regent Melbourne. The hotel will blend timeless elegance with modern luxury in the iconic Rialto building, offering expansive event spaces, multiple dining venues, and a destination spa and Regent Club, making it a landmark in Melbourne’s CBD.
InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach: Crowne Plaza Sydney Coogee Beach is undergoing a complete reimagination, set to open in late 2025. The newly rebranded InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach will feature a stunning pool deck overlooking Coogee Beach, a wellness spa, a Club InterContinental, and a signature restaurant by a world-renowned restaurant group.
InterContinental Canberra: The Crowne Plaza Canberra site will be redeveloped to feature a luxury hotel precinct, including the InterContinental Canberra. The hotel will offer panoramic views of Parliament House from its rooftop Club InterContinental Lounge, alongside meeting and event spaces, a signature restaurant, and a luxurious day spa.
