Madrid, Spain, 2014-7-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Complying with the requirements of the United States Authorities, from July 29th all Iberia flights destination U.S.A. will be subject to additional security inspections.
These measures consist of customers to be asked to turn on any electrical or battery powered devices such as telephones, tablets, e-books and laptops in front of security teams and/or demonstrate the item’s functionality.
If, when asked to do so, clients are unable to demonstrate that their devices have power, the devices will not be allowed to travel on your planned service.
Please do all you can to ensure that items you bring with you are fully powered before you arrive at the airport.
Please do not bring any broken devices in your hand luggage to the airport as they will not be able to travel as planned.
These new checks on electronic devices have been ruled by the T.S.A., Transportation Security Administration, an agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that exercises authority over the security at the airports.
