2013-02-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — easyJet, the UK’s largest airline and Luton Town Football Club defenders Simon Ainge and Lathaniel Rowe-Turner teamed up today – Friday 15 February ahead of the club’s crucial FA Cup tie against Millwall tomorrow, to lead a football shirt swap outside the Town Hall in Luton Town Centre.
The first 50 fans to arrive were be invited to give-up their non Luton Town club shirt and replace it with the team’s famous orange one to show their support for the players and see them through to the next round of the FA Cup.
Paul Simmons, easyJet’s UK Director said:
“easyJet is backing the Hatters all the way for their big match tomorrow and we’re thrilled that Simon and Lathaniel could join us to meet the fans and give these supporters the chance to do the same in club and easyJet colours.
“Sadly in recent years, we know that many Lutonians have defected to more successful football teams. We’re now giving them the chance to renew their allegiance to Luton Town and to trade in their Manchester United, Chelsea and other team shirt for one from the mighty Hatters.
“We’ve been sponsors of Luton Town Football club for four years now and are delighted that we’re able to join forces on the eve of such an important game for the team. We wish them the very best of luck!”
