Hamburg Airport: SUN-AIR to launch new service from Hamburg to London City Airport on 27 October, 2014

Hamburg, Germany, 2014-9-16 — /Travel PR News/ — On 27 October, 2014, SUN-AIR is launching a new service from Hamburg to London City Airport. The Danish franchise partner of British Airways is operating one morning and one evening flight from Monday to Friday. A 32-seat Dornier 328 is being deployed on the route, and passengers will enjoy premium level in-flight service. Tickets are available immediately at www.ba.com and from all travel agents.

The London-City route is particularly interesting for business travellers as it makes London’s business district and inner city quick and easy to reach.” Of the British capital’s airports, London City is closest to the centre of London. It is just 15 minutes on the underground, for example, from the airport to the City of London.

SUN-AIR has been a British Airways franchise partner since 1996. Since 2009, the airline has operated a service from Billund in Denmark to London City. SUN-AIR also operates flights from Billund to Düsseldorf and Munich. For British Airways, the new service between Hamburg and London City is an effective addition to the existing service to and from London Heathrow.
