Germany’s second largest airline airberlin started accepting PayPal as a payment method on many bookings

2013-08-26 — /travelprnews.com/ — Germany’s second largest airline is constantly enhancing the service provided for its guests. From now on, airberlin will accept PayPal as a payment method on many bookings. “We would like to make travelling as easy as possible for our guests. PayPal acts as a digital purse, thus eliminating the laborious process of entering one’s bank details,” says Paul Gregorowitsch, Chief Commercial Officer at airberlin.

PayPal already has over twelve million active users in Germany. The user’s personal data are secure with PayPal, as if locked in a safety deposit box. By simply entering the user name and password, the amount owing on purchases is settled by means of the payment method stored safely in the user’s PayPal account.
