Mild summer weather could mean “mercury rates” lower than USD 100.00.
2013-02-14 — /travelprnews.com/ — Assuming Mother Nature cooperates, visitors to the Lone Star state could enjoy incredible savings at three Four Seasons hotels in Texas this summer.
Starting May 31, 2013, travelers who book the Big Chill package atFour Seasons Hotel Austin, Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas and Four Seasons Hotel Houston will receive a special “mercury rate” – the day’s recorded Fahrenheit high temperature – the second night of their stay.
Available for weekend arrivals through August 25, 2013, the package is offered on two-night minimum stays with the first night priced at the best available rate.
Quietly launched in 2012, last year’s promotion yielded mercury rates as low as USD 76.00 for a few lucky travellers. The highest mercury rate among all three properties was USD 106.00.
“For people willing to gamble on the whims of Mother Nature, this package offers incredible value and a fun way to spend their summer vacation in the great state of Texas,” says Rob Hagelberg, general manager at Four Seasons Hotel Austin.
Details and days of availability vary slightly by property:
In addition to the promotional rate, each package includes complimentary add-ons to ensure guests stay cool throughout their stay. For example, in Austin guests will receive chilled towels and a special welcome amenity upon check-in, along with housemade ice cream and an in-room movie during their visit.
The Big Chill package may be reserved starting March 31, 2013 onlineor by calling the Austin, Dallas or Houston Four Seasons properties directly:
