Washington’s beloved policemen, firemen and all public servants will be honoured and thanked at a Thanksgiving meal served by Four Seasons staff volunteers on a 53-foot Mayflower trailer

Who:
- Christian Clerc, regional vice president and general manager, dressed in traditional pilgrim garb along with Rolf Lippuner, director of rooms dressed as a Thanksgiving turkey and Kathleen O’Connor, assistant director of food & beverage, dressed as an American Indian.
What:
- Four Seasons staff volunteers will serve more than 300 traditional Thanksgiving meals to Washington’s finest aboard a 53 foot (16 metre) Mayflower moving van dressed in fine linens, silver and china.
- 500 Hotel guests will also dine in Seasons restaurant and BOURBON STEAK throughout the day.
- For the festivities the Hotel Executive Chef Douglas Anderson prepares: 200 pounds (91 kilograms) of turkey, 7 bone-in Virginia hams, 80 pounds (36 kilograms) of sweet potatoes, 150 pounds (68 kilograms) of potatoes, 20 gallons (76 litres) of gravy, 15 gallons (57 litres) of cranberry sauce, 100 pounds (45 kilograms) of stuffing, and 80 assorted pies.

- 8:30 am Mayflower trailer arrives and parks in front ofFour Seasons on Pennsylvania Avenue and set-up begin.
- 11:00 am – 2:00 pm The Thanksgiving meal is served to policeman, fireman, and emergency room workers – all those public servants who are working on this day of thanks.
