Building on its inaugural year, the 2023 Georgetown Wine & Dine will feature two full days of culinary festivities, including tastings, masterclasses, and a chefs dinner crafted by Michelin-starred chefs and James Beard Award winners, as well as elevated decor elements by renowned event planner Marcy Blum. The intimate, six-course meal will include one dish from each celebrated chef, with wine pairings selected for each course from host winemakers from Peter Michael, Charles Krug and Domaine H. William Harlan in collaboration with Company Fine Wine.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing Georgetown Wine & Dine back to our flagship location of Bourbon Steak in the heart of Washington, DC,” says Chef Mina. “This event allows for amazing collaboration and creativity, with our Bourbon Steak craftspeople working alongside some of the most celebrated chefs in the country. We look forward to welcoming our visiting chefs, as well as food and wine lovers from DC and beyond, to this exciting culinary showcase in our Nation’s Capital.”

In its second year, The Georgetown Wine & Dine will continue the longstanding support for cancer research by Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, furthering the mission of The Race to Beat Cancer, which the Hotel originally launched 42 years ago. This culinary celebration will provide oenophiles, fine wine collectors and foodies an unparalleled experience, while supporting those in the community who are impacted by cancer.

This year’s beneficiary, the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital is among the top cancer centres in the country, with their physicians and researchers receiving international recognition for their innovative research and leadership in patient care. Proceeds from Georgetown Wine & Dine will support cancer research at Sibley, which has more than 100 clinical trials open at any given time, ensuring patients have access to world-class, innovative and ground-breaking care provided by teams of specialists in a state-of-the-art facility.

“I’m thrilled to participate in this year’s Georgetown Wine & Dine,” says Ashwani Rajput, MD, Director of the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. “The clinical trials program at Sibley has experienced tremendous growth, and the funds raised at this event will directly impact our ability to continue to bring novel treatments to cancer patients in our community.”
