Roads in Vancouver, Whistler and points in between will host the RBC GranFondo Whistler, a special mass-participation cycling event designed for cyclists of varying abilities. Gear up for the event – or wind down afterwards – with a customized package fromFour Seasons Hotel Vancouver.

Cyclists and spectators alike are invited to take advantage of a guaranteed early check-in, a special “Race Ready” amenity, breakfast for two and more. This package is available only on Friday, September 7, 2012, and Saturday September 8, 2012, in conjunction with the GranFondo event, and cannot be booked back to back.

The Hotel’s second floor lobby will be decked out in state-of-the-art road racing bikes. Visitors are invited to drop in and get in the GranFondo spirit from August 31 through September 9.

Participants are encourage to get their race on with YEW’s special “GranFondo Carb Loading” menu featuring healthy, hearty dishes such as triple cheddar mac n’ cheese, pappardelle puttanesca, and roast organic chicken with charred corn polenta with a choice of soup or salad starter.

A beautifully decorated, long-table format will be set on the private pool deck of Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver. Hosts include the BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier and Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver Executive Chef Ned Bell.

Ten of British Columbia and Seattle’s top chefs will prepare an elegant ten-course plated dinner, inspired by the inimitable Julia Child. Served poolside, the CAD 300.00 ticket price includes wine, taxes and gratuity.

Supporting a food movement that he is utterly passionate about, Chef Ned Bell loves being part of the Feast of Fields celebration and fundraising event.
