Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco recognised as the best hotel in San Francisco by Forbes Travel Guide

City’s only Forbes Five Star hotel earns award for 17 years in row for excellence in service and amenities

San Francisco, U.S.A., 2019-Feb-21 — /Travel PR News/ — Forbes Travel Guide announced its annual Star Rating and Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco was again recognised as the best hotel in San Francisco with Five Stars.

“It’s an honour to be recognised as the best of the best, especially after the Hotel’s complete renovation of its guest rooms, suites and event space,” says Joerg Rodig, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, who joined the Hotel in August of last year and who has been with the brand for 18 years. “I am humbled by how our team welcomes guests and genuinely cares about their work. They are true ambassadors of the brand and of the city.”

The Hotel is located in the heart of South of Market (SoMa) and offers a legacy of intuitive hospitality, connecting guests to the Bay Area’s natural beauty and art and tech scene. In addition to 277 guest rooms and suites, the Hotel has 15,000 square feet (1,400 square metres) of meeting and event space, and MKT Restaurant-Bar, which features fresh California cuisine from Executive Chef Cyrille Pannier.

“People such as 20-year Four Seasons veteran and Chef Concierge Andreas Rippel, who leads a team of concierges to find the city’s best and undiscovered experiences, create long-lasting memories for guests,” continues Rodig. “It’s those feelings and memories that linger long after our guests arrive home that matter to us.”

In addition to a strong culture of exceptional service, the culinary team at MKT Restaurant-Bar innovates with events, such as “The Den,” a weekly craft cocktail and live music event that pays homage to the early speakeasies of the Bay Area.

Guests find inspiration for fitness and well-being at San Francisco’s most prestigious sports clubs, Equinox, where Four Seasons guests enjoy complimentary access. The team at Equinox also provide complimentary yoga on the Hotel’s Veranda Terrace, with views of SoMa and Yerba Buena Gardens, during the summer months.
