Four Seasons announced more than half of its portfolio of hotels and resorts honoured with 117 awards by TripAdvisor

More than half of the brand’s portfolio recognized for excellence in family, luxury, romance and more

Toronto, Canada, 2014-1-27 — /travelprnews.com/ — Each year, TripAdvisor honours the world’s most outstanding properties with TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards in categories that include Top Hotels, Family Hotels, Luxury Hotels, Hotels for Romance, and Small Hotels. With a keen focus on maintaining the highest standard of service, more than half of the portfolio of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, 47 properties, were honoured with 117 awards. Highlights include:

• Three properties were included in the Top 25 Hotels in the World, more than any other brand: Four SeasonsHotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet at #13, Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora at #24 and Four Seasons Hotel Firenze at #25
• Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet received six awards: #13 Hotel in the World, #3 Hotel in Europe, #9 Hotel for Luxury in Europe, #1 Hotel in Turkey and, #1 Hotel for Luxury in Turkey and #11 Hotel for Romance in Turkey
• Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh received seven awards: #8 Family Hotel in the World, #3 Hotel in the Middle East, #3 Family Hotel in the Middle East, #6 Hotel for Luxury in the Middle East, #2 Hotel in Egypt, #2 Family Hotel in Egypt and #3 Hotel for Luxury in Egypt
• Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita received five awards: #2 Hotel in Africa, #8 Hotel for Luxury in Africa, #2 Hotel in Mauritius, #1 Hotel for Luxury in Mauritius and #4 Hotel for Romance in Mauritius
• Keeping the romance alive: 15 properties were recognized in the Romance category, including: Four SeasonsResort Lanai, The Lodge at Koele, Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St. Petersburg and Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora
• Small wonder: Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle was deemed the #2 Small Hotel in Thailand
