Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, starts operating its 2012-13 Winter programme this Sunday (October 28th) from Jersey Airport with a choice of up to 188 flights a week on nine routes, including a brand new route to East Midlands Airport. Other highlights include up to 56 flights a week on the frequent E-jet service to London Gatwick, 50 flights a week to Southampton and a choice of up to 14 flights a week to Flybe’s Manchester hub providing a convenient link to this key business centre and easy access to a wealth of onward connections. To meet passenger demand, the popular winter ski route to Geneva has been extended through the Easter holidays to April 6th, 2013.
Flybe has been the most punctual airline operating between Jersey and London Gatwick airport for the past 17 consecutive months, an outstanding statistic confirmed by the recently released Civil Aviation Authority Punctuality figures for July 2012. For that month alone, the airline’s 85% punctuality record into the key London airport was 23% higher than British Airways whose on time performance was only 62%.
