Vantaa, Finland, 2021-Nov-17 — /Travel PR News/ — From 24 January, Air Leap will start a direct route between Stockholm Arlanda and Turku. Air Leap will operate the route with two daily round trips Monday to Friday and one direct flight from Turku to Stockholm on Saturday with return on Sunday.
Air Leap has previously announced that it will increase the number of departures to Mariehamn and Turku to two daily round trips. This means that a total of four departures are offered from Turku to Stockholm, two direct and two with a stopover in Mariehamn.
– Turku has historically been an important destination to and from Stockholm. Stockholm and Turku have been without direct flights since the outbreak of the pandemic. We are therefore pleased to be able to make this investment. Together with the route via Mariehamn, many departures will now be offered that can be adapted to connecting flights in Stockholm, says Johan Giæver Marvik, Commercial Director Air Leap
– We are delighted to reopen the flight connection between the two cities. It is great to see travelling picking up and connections to and from Finland gradually recovering, says Petri Vuori, Vice President, Sales and Route Development, Finavia.
