ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR TV AD CAMPAIGN BRINGS CUSTOMER SERVICE HOME (UK)

LONDON – 2012-09-14 — /travelprnews.com/ — Enterprise Rent-A-Car has launched a new television brand campaign to extend awareness of the company and its customer service culture. The advertising started on August 13th and a second TV commercial is planned to air later in the year.

The ad features fictional US Enterprise employee Brad and his UK counterpart, Dave. Each has a unique approach based on the customer expectations in their respective countries, but they’re united by a desire to do their very best for customers. Together, they demonstrate the importance of localising US service values to ensure customer satisfaction in the UK.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car was established in the UK in 1994 and is now the largest rental car and van company in the UK. It has a network of over 370 branches across the UK and Ireland, employing over 3,700 people and with a fleet of over 50,000 vehicles. This extensive network of local branches enables Enterprise to focus on the needs of each individual community, serving business travellers and tourists as well as people needing a replacement car when their own vehicle is being repaired.

Lee Broughton, Enterprise’s Director Responsible for Brand, said, “Our new advertising was developed in the UK for a UK audience and is very different from our more corporate approach to advertising used previously. We hope people will enjoy the humour and the interplay between these two characters that share the same values, but present them in different ways.

“Our customers often tell us our people and the service is the reason for renting from us and recommending us to their family and friends. We wanted to celebrate this through the ad, to help differentiate our business and demonstrate that customer service and great value are not mutually exclusive.”
