The Academy’s instructors can now join the airline’s corps of aviators

This day serves to highlight the pivotal role that educators play in shaping future generations, particularly within the aviation industry.
EFTA’s flight instructors now have the opportunity to advance their careers by becoming First Officers with Emirates after five years of training. This unique pathway allows these seasoned trainers to fly some of the most advanced aircraft in the world, including the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777, and join the ranks of Emirates’ impressive pilot community, which currently numbers around 4,400.

With ambitious growth plans in place, both Emirates and EFTA are actively seeking passionate and experienced flight instructors to join their teams. EFTA currently boasts a diverse group of 43 instructors from 23 different nationalities, while Emirates has 520 pilots representing 53 nationalities.
EFTA invites instructors with at least 700 flight hours and a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) to apply, emphasizing the importance of exceptional instructional techniques and varied teaching methodologies. To qualify for a position at Emirates, flight instructors must possess a CPL, ATPL, or Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL), along with a minimum of 12 months of active instructor/examiner experience and 1,500 flight hours on multi-crew aircraft.
