Emirates continues to offer travellers choice, transparency and convenience by providing full content via all Amadeus channels
MADRID, SPAIN, 2016-Jun-02 — /Travel PR News/ — Emirates and Amadeus today announce the renewal of their distribution agreement to ensure that the airline’s full inventory of fares and flights is made available to Amadeus-connected travel agencies and travellers worldwide.
The agreement means that Emirates content is made available to the world’s largest network of travel sellers, and Emirates’ customers can continue to search and shop for all Emirates products and services through the channel of their choosing.
Renewal of the full content agreement comes shortly after Emirates was named the most valuable airline brand according to the 2016 Brand Finance Global 500 report. As the airline pushes on with its unwavering focus on the customer experience, the two companies are exploring opportunities relating to the introduction of new merchandising capabilities including Ancillary Services and Fare Families.
Decius Valmorbida, Vice-President of Distribution Marketing at Amadeus, added: “Travellers are seeking the ability to compare airline offers in a transparent way through the channel of their choosing. By continuing its partnership with Amadeus, Emirates is ensuring its high-service proposition is available to travellers right across the globe.
“We look forward to continuing our discussions to see how advanced merchandising techniques can support the evolution of Emirates’ commercial strategy.”
