Chef Gilles Arzur
Los Angeles in Beverly Hills (Beverly Wilshire), U.S.A. 2012-09-21 — /travelprnews.com/ — Chef Gilles Arzur from Beverly Wilshire culinary team and Chef Ari Rosenson from CUT announce Beverly Wilshire’s participation in Chefs To End Hunger.
Chefs to End Hunger is about empowering chefs to easily and efficiently use the resources already at their disposal and repurpose food currently going to waste to join in the fight to end hunger and make a real cumulative impact daily.
As part of this new program, excess food from the restaurants and banquets at the Hotel will now be sent to food agencies around the Los Angeles area to serve meals to people in need.
The primary recipient of this food is Midnight Mission in downtown LA, one of the oldest continuously operating human service organizations in the city. Recently, the chefs and staff members from Beverly Wilshire visited to learn about the facilities, serve lunch, and learn what little effort that can come from the Hotel can have a great impact on many. There was greater knowledge gained about Chefs To End Hunger and how the roll in the process is the missing piece we need to make giving easy.
