This year’s events at the hotel will be themed with a homage to the Roaring Twenties, full of fun, sparkle and joy. The Christmas season will officially begin with the unveiling of the traditional Christmas tree in the hotel lobby, on 3 December, and this year’s theme is ‘The Sweetest Tree & the Roaring Twenties’. Edible decorations have been made by Kempinski Hotel Bahía’s Pastry Chef Malika, and Executive Chef Adrian Topan. The tree will delight all your senses, with the aromas of gingerbread, chocolate and the glitter of the decorations, it will whisk you away to an era of opulence and decadence. Decorated with handmade sweets and gingerbread men dipped in chocolate this tree will tempt all who pass by this festive season!
On 24 December, Kempinski Hotel Bahía will host its annual Christmas Eve Dinner in the Alminar Restaurant. Beginning at 19:00 and finishing at 21:00, this six-course meal is the ideal way to begin your family celebrations, with live music to get you all in a festive mood! After dinner, guests are welcome to continue the evening with a nightcap under the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree in Black Rose The Bar.
Christmas Day welcomes a very special and popular event, the Christmas Day Lunch, from 13:30 till 16:30 at El Mirador Restaurant, including live music, a visit from Santa and kids’ entertainment. The buffet-style lunch will include cooking and carving stations, salads, sushi and smoked dishes, as well as all Christmas favourites, with trimmings, desserts and free-flowing cava throughout the event.
New Year’s Eve ‘The Roaring 20’s’
New Year’s Eve is another wonderful event at the hotel, and this year, there will be two parties to choose from: the ‘Jazz Speakeasy’ or ‘The Great Gatsby’. Begin the evening with a cocktail reception in the elegant Black Rose The Bar, located in the lobby. At 19:30, guests will make their way down either to the Alminar Restaurant for ‘The Great Gatsby’ event or to Baltazár Bar & Grill for the ‘Jazz Speakeasy’ party.
At the Alminar Restaurant’s ‘The Great Gatsby’ party, guests will enjoy a wonderfully elegant event with live music and a six-course meal. Just before midnight, guests will head to Black Rose The Bar terrace for the traditional lucky grapes, a champagne toast and fireworks before enjoying the wonderful Roaring Twenties-themed party till the early hours of New Year’s Day! The Baltazár Bar & Grill’s ‘Jazz Speakeasy’ party will also have live music, in a slightly more relaxed atmosphere, whilst guests enjoy a five-course meal. Just before midnight, guests will head to Black Rose The Bar for the countdown to midnight, with the lucky grapes, a champagne toast and fireworks. If guests wish to join ‘The Roaring 20’s’ party, they are welcome to pay a supplement per person.
