2012-08-21 — /travelprnews.com/ — Cathay Pacific Airways today (Tuesday) welcomed the announcement of the implementation arrangements for the online Pre-arrival Registration for Taiwan Residents by the Immigration Department which will further streamline the immigration arrangements for Taiwan residents to visit Hong Kong with effect from 1 September.
Cathay Pacific Director Sales and Marketing Rupert Hogg said: “This is great news for both Taiwan and Hong Kong. There is already a strong market between these two locations and now it will be even easier for Taiwanese visitors to come spend time with friends and relatives in our home city. We’re looking forward to welcoming them onboard any of the 16 flights a day we operate between Taipei and Hong Kong.”
