2012-09-26 — /travelprnews.com/ — The wide-open spaces of Canada are becoming more accessible to British Airways customers with the start of a new code-share agreement with WestJet.
British Airways has direct flights to Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal. Tickets for onward services on WestJet, to select destinations in Canada are now available for sale on ba.com, with a BA flight number being added to the sectors.
Tickets to Ottawa, Edmonton and Victoria can now be purchased in one easy transaction on ba.com with customers earning Avios loyalty points on the WestJet sectors as well as the trans-Atlantic services.
Lynne Embleton, British Airways’ director of strategy and business units, said: “Our partnership with WestJet is great news for our customers. It will enable easier travel from Canada’s gateway cities to destinations that have been more difficult to access from the UK.”
