(IN SHORT) Marella Cruises has unveiled Piccadilly’s, a gastropub-style restaurant launching across all ships in the fleet from June 2025. Included in the all-inclusive package, Piccadilly’s offers guests a fresh take on traditional British fare with signature starters, elevated roasts, creative sharing plates, and indulgent desserts. With a rotating menu and 250-seat walk-in capacity, the new restaurant delivers home-style comfort with modern flair, supported by Marella’s renowned onboard service. Piccadilly’s joins a lineup of popular dining experiences aboard Marella’s five ships, reflecting the cruise line’s continued innovation in guest hospitality and cuisine.

(PRESS RELEASE) HANOVER, Germany, 2025-Jun-9 — /Travel PR News/ — Marella Cruises has introduced its latest dining innovation, Piccadilly’s, a gastropub-style restaurant now launching across its entire fleet from June 2025. As part of the cruise line’s all-inclusive offering, Piccadilly’s brings a modern British dining experience at sea, combining familiar comforts with elevated flavours and refined presentation — all in a relaxed pub-inspired setting.

The new concept is the third restaurant introduced within Marella Cruises’ main dining areas and reflects the rising popularity of Britain’s gastropub culture, where bold reinventions of traditional favourites have become culinary cornerstones. Piccadilly’s redefines cruise ship dining with a rotating menu full of classic dishes and inventive plates designed for sharing.

Guests can enjoy creatively curated starters like ‘Chicken or the Egg’ — a combination of smoked chicken terrine, crispy hen egg, and piccalilli — or hearty favourites like Devilled Chicken Livers on Toast and Smoked Salmon Roulade. Mains include comforting signatures such as Angus Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, Steak and Ale Pie, and Vegan Steak and Chips. Unique dishes like ‘The Chippy’— beer-battered whiting with pea fritter and pickled wally — showcase British seaside nostalgia.

For those with a sweet tooth, desserts like the Orange Jaffa Cake with orange jelly and dark chocolate, Warm Apple Fritters, and The King of Rice Puddings promise a flavourful end to the meal. Guests can also indulge in extras for a nominal charge, including dishes like Seafood Thermidor Frites, Rack of Lamb, and the visually stunning Belgian Chocolate Dome filled with brownie, ganache, orange marmalade, and hot caramel.

Luke Saunders, Food and Drink Development Manager at Marella Cruises, shared, “After a successful trial on selected ships, we’re thrilled to roll out Piccadilly’s across our fleet. It’s a place where guests can savour hearty British favourites with flair, blending home-style comfort and fine dining finesse. We’re excited to see how customers embrace this new culinary concept.”

Located onboard all five ships — Marella Discovery, Marella Discovery 2, Marella Explorer, Marella Explorer 2, and the newest Marella Voyager — Piccadilly’s offers walk-in dining for up to 250 guests nightly from 18:00 to 21:00, delivering the standout onboard service Marella Cruises is known for. The gastropub joins other beloved onboard restaurants such as Kora La and Surf & Turf, further expanding Marella’s culinary appeal.

Marella Cruises, part of TUI UK and Ireland and TUI Group, is the third-largest cruise line in the UK.
