British Airways launches new video guide to ‘Brazil Beach Etiquette’ on flights to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo
LONDON, 2016-Jul-28 — /Travel PR News/ — British Airways is gearing up for a summer of sport, with exclusive and exciting entertainment coming to flights this August and September.
For the many fans visiting Rio, the airline has produced an exclusive light-hearted guide to ‘Brazil Beach Etiquette’, featuring tips from the airline’s community of cabin crew. It includes how to blend in like a local, why you need to pack a ‘kanga’, which lifeguard posts (or ‘posto’) to visit, and most important of all – how to order a ‘stupidly cold beer’! The short video is available on flights to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo from August 1, as well on the airline’s YouTube page.
British Airways is also showing daily highlights from the Rio 2016 Olympic Games from August 5, on the majority of long-haul flights, so customers on holiday don’t miss the action.
British Airways in-flight entertainment and technology manager, Richard D’Cruze said: “As official airline provider to Team GB and ParalympicsGB, we create and curate only the best programmes for fans and athletes flying to and from Brazil. There’s over 1,300 hours of films, top TV shows and audio programmes to choose from.”
Additionally, customers will be able to tune in to the classic movie ‘Chariots of Fire’, documentaries ‘Sporting Greats; Sir Steve Redgrave’ and ‘Back on Board: Greg Louganis’. There’s also a ‘VisionAir City Guide to Brazil’, plus album ‘Brasil Music Exchange’ to get into the Brazilian vibe!
All this content will also be shown on VIP flight ‘BA2016’ bringing Team GB and ParalympicsGB back from the Games this August and September.
