LONDON, UK, 2018-Sep-28 — /Travel PR News/ — Members of the British Airways Executive Club can now collect double the Avios when they fly, thanks to a new offer from the airline.
To be eligible to collect double Avios on flights, customers must register, book and fly by December 31, 2018. Customers must register for the offer before booking, which can be done here, and be a member of the British Airways Executive Club, which is free to join. The promotion is running on flights across all routes and cabins and can be collected on up to 10 flights.
These double Avios can be spent in the same way as normal Avios, including being used for part payment, allowing customers to cut the cost of future flights. When using Avios part payment, customers can pick from a range of savings by destination and cabin. In doing so, members can still collect Avios and Tier Points on their bookings.
Carolina Martinoli, British Airways’ Director of Brand and Customer Experience, said: “We know how important the ability to collect and spend Avios is for our customers, so we hope they’ll enjoy this offer. There are a number of ways members can spend their extra Avios, whether it’s through reward flights, part payment, or on tens of thousands of hotels and trips around the world.”
The promotion is running alongside a range of improvements for customers by British Airways as part of its £4.5bn investment plan. This year the airline has launched a new app for Executive Club members, improved its Club Europe short-haul business class and World Traveller long-haul economy class catering and refreshed a number of lounges across its network.
Full terms and conditions can be found here. Avios can be collected on up to 10 sectors.
