2013-07-17 — /travelprnews.com/ — Visitors to Castle Campbell and Dollar Glen had a fun-filled time at the Bioblitz event over the weekend learning all about the area’s fascinating flora and fauna. Activities on offer included wildlife surveys, bat walks and river dipping sessions by Rangers from Historic Scotland and the National Trust for Scotland.
Matt McCabe, Interpretation Ranger at Historic Scotland said: “It was a wonderful weekend with glorious weather – just what we needed to celebrate the Year of Natural Scotland in all its beauty!
“We were so pleased to see so many families taking part in the arts and crafts sessions and learning all about the wildlife, woodland and waterfalls we enjoy around Castle Campbell and Dollar Glen.”
