(PRESS RELEASE) TOKYO, Japan, 2026-Apr-22 — /Travel PR News/ — All Nippon Airways has expanded its long-standing relationship with IHG Hotels & Resorts through a new strategic loyalty partnership designed to integrate air travel and hotel experiences more closely. Scheduled to launch after October 2026, the collaboration aims to provide enhanced value and flexibility for members of both companies’ loyalty programmes.
The agreement connects ANA Mileage Club with IHG One Rewards, enabling members to benefit from a more unified rewards ecosystem. Travellers will be able to earn and redeem points across ANA’s international flight network and IHG’s portfolio of more than 7,000 hotels in over 100 countries, creating a seamless travel experience spanning both aviation and hospitality.
A central component of the partnership is reciprocal status recognition. Once accounts are linked, ANA Mileage Club members will receive corresponding status tiers within IHG One Rewards, unlocking privileges such as room upgrades and late check-out at participating hotels worldwide. This alignment is intended to provide a consistent and elevated experience for frequent travellers across both platforms.
The partnership also introduces a dual earning mechanism on selected international flights. Passengers traveling on eligible ANA-operated routes will be able to accumulate IHG One Rewards points in addition to airline miles, allowing them to build rewards across both programmes simultaneously.
In addition, the collaboration enhances flexibility through a two-way points exchange system. Members can convert ANA miles into IHG One Rewards points and vice versa, giving them more options to use their rewards for flights, accommodation, and other travel-related benefits.
This development builds on more than two decades of cooperation between the two companies and reflects their shared ambition to deepen customer engagement. As IHG continues to expand its footprint in Japan and ANA strengthens its global presence, the partnership supports both organisations’ growth strategies.
By combining their respective strengths and global reach, All Nippon Airways and IHG Hotels & Resorts are creating a more integrated and rewarding travel ecosystem, designed to meet the evolving expectations of modern travellers.
